ARCTIC
SWAN, THAT WILL
BE EXPORTED TO NORWAY, IS LAUNCHED
The "Arctic Swan"
trawler, that belongs to SOLSTRAND AS, was launched on
12/01/2002 at Celik Tekne Shipyard, Tuzla.
Arctic Swan is
a"2880 GT" North Atlantic Sea trawler and has 65
m. length, 14,6m. breadth, fitted with 6000kW(816 HP)
engine and has 14,5 knots curusing speed.
The vessel, of which the
steel hull is built by Celik Tekne Shipyard, has 1000m3
refrigerating holds.
The steel sections of
another trawler, which has similar design but 72 m. length,
still under construction of the same Norwagian Company.
