ÇELİK TEKNE,
operating in the shipbuilding sector since 25 years
as a member of the GALATASARAY HOLDİNG, launched on
25 May 1999 the container vessel BOX İSTANBUL built
for FURTRANS, as a member of the ÜRKMEZ GROUP.
The construction of BOX İSTANBUL exclusively
designed and built by ÇELİK TEKNE was completed in
four months. The vessel has a capacity of 7000 gross
tonnes at 800 TEU.
A 6500-gross tonnes chemicals tanker to be built for
the same group has already been laid down.
